I think you misread my message and are agreeing with me.I seem to remember many of Altys players that we sell on go for an undisclosed fee. What is the reason or purpose of an undisclosed fee? Who if anyone does it benefit? What is the reason or purpose of a disclosed fee? Who if anyone does it benefit?
Both clubs. For us if everyone suddenly knows we’ve banked x amount of money then come knocking for players, as that club you’re going to inflate the price knowing we’ve got the cash.

Don't think it has rained today, for the first time in weeks it seems. Yesterday was particularly heavy.Cant see this going ahead
Why? Is it wet in WA15?
Woking announced it as 97 on the day. I thought it was a bit on the high side, but who knows.Just getting back towards Manchester… we had them beat today! Toby and Newby were the standouts for me! Was at least 70 or more there. So much better than last year. This team is going places!
Interesting. The official figure was apparently given as 48, which to me looked plausible from the footage I have seen. By contrast at Woking, I made a rough count from the back of the seated stand behind the goal and as I recall concluded we had a little over 60 there - but apparently there was 97! How did I manage to miss out over 30 people (unless 97 was a typo)?
And the story also got onto Sunday night's Headliners on GBNews! So that’s another 75 people who are aware of the story.
I thought the letter in the NLP about us going full time was, at least, very misjudged.Give us a clue, who said what.
Handled badly by "the powers that be". No consideration given to Wealdstone now having to trek up here on a Tuesday. No thought for anyone who may have booked train tickets, or overnight accommodation. Two minutes silence and the National Anthem really would have sufficed - we'll probably get those on Tuesday if we're allowed to play then. This, multiplied by however many other games are impacted in the top 4 leagues too.
Next 2 games are huge, essential we get at least 4 points.Pretty sure that every time a statement like this is made, we fail to achieve it.
Sure it was his shot that was looping into the top corner until their keeper got his fingertips to it at 1-1?Followed the game on Twitter and just read the match report and Colclough has not had a mention, this is very worrying.
Ryan was quiet in the first & last quarter of the game, but was our most influential player during the middle two quarters, particularly the second quarter.
So did the barriers at Burnden Park until 80,000 crammed in. And I well remember the incident at the Huddersfield cup match. For all I know, it might be a different story with dozens of people rushing against those flimsy looking fences. The shutters are down during play because that’s either the law, or league regulations, or both at this level and above. No alcohol can be consumed in view of the pitch while the game is in progress. It has been this way for many years. While the Fanzone was open last season, the stewards had a constant battle to stop people straying in to view of the pitch.
Of more interest to me from a safety point of view is the continued insistence at this level of obscuring the windows in the CSH during play, especially with the issues over getting everyone served during half time. I hope the authorities will relent eventually, at least for some games at this level, and I would personally rate the increased risks from opening the windows at effectively zero. It might even be less of a risk, with less of a rush to try and get drinks during half time if people are not missing the match in the CSH (or alternatively allowed onto the terraces with hem). It seems something of an anomaly that big matches can be screened at crowded pubs with supporters of both teams mixing, but in the home only CSH, it is apparently too dangerous. Seriously, who is going to behave more dangerously if the windows are open there?
You'd never get home for your tea, unless they cut it to 35 in-play minutes per half. Sometime, set your stopwatch and monitor how much time the ball is dead - you'll be amazed (ATS may know the answer.....)Taking the Southend-Borehamwood game from the opening day as an example, I read that the ball was in play for 36 mins.
