I missed both Barrow matches, but any of that lot worth a look (presumably they left as they wanted to stay part-time).

The present financial climate makes it all the more incomprehensible.

However, it actually beneifts us in a perverse sort of way, because it's one less part time club from the north west with which we have to compete to sign players and that can never be a bad thing.

I can see it now - Altrincham saved in the AGM cup by barrow going out of business.

Calm down guys nothing has been announced. Sure there is speculation on our website.

All that has been said so far is that we intend to train 3 nights a week next season where possible.

Its maybe we offer full time contracts to our managers, plus a few quality players that we wish to attract or retain, but i think going full time completely will be phased in over a period of time depending on how things are going.

However that is my view on what ive heard and not what i know, I await official announcements

We have a playing and business plan for the next few years with the aim to become one of the top BSP sides but who knows how  things will go. The players that have been released we feel dont fit with this plan.

We are a totally different club than when we had the thieving scoucser as chairman, look what hes now doing to Chester City. Im sure he will get a 'warm' welcome if he shows his face at Holker Street next season.

Like I said, we are  a different club now with a membership scheme so the above senario wont happen again and we will always live within our budget. We made some money from our cup run and are considering how to spend it wisely. Some has already gone into improving the facilities. The player situation is now being considered.

Good to see you guys escape the AGM playoff trophy and look forward to seeing you at Moss Lane next season.

I hope it will be Chester. Did you get Wrexham this season?

Good to see Barra survive the season.

Nice to hear from you HGB..........ears burn did they?
