To be fair he has stayed longer than I thought he would and owes us nothing. Good luck to him.

We are however right up against it without him!

I suspect our resistance is more along the lines of we don’t want your money. I can’t believe they would offer the sort of silly money that would force us to sell and I don’t think Oldham is appealing enough for Ryan to get upset as us ‘blocking his move’ so I can’t see it happening. We’d only let him go for more money than Oldham have or if keeping him against his will would piss him off to the extent it damages his performance long term.

Saturday was sub zero temperatures on a plastic pitch. There was a noticeable and understandable tendency for players to stay on their feet and not dive in to tackles!

Should it be on same starting 11

Alty 3-1 mufc (Jennings, Newby, Colclough)
I think it will be, interesting how little use of subs we made last game

I assumed it was weather related. Too hard to warm up enough on the touch line in that weather. Is the injury risk higher coming on in those circumstances?

How was today's Referee please?

Last time he was at Moss Lane he was worse than poor

I watched the stream and didn’t really notice him so not bad. Not convinced by the handball for the pen but hard to tell on stream and no replays. Certainly better than the clown England had tonight. He really didn’t like Saka did he?!

I registered. It never asked me to set up a password, but now it wants one. I've sent a 'forgot password' message, but half an hour later there's no response. I'll just follow the game using Twitter and FlasScores.

It seems you have to set your password from the e-mail link they don'tell you they're sending you. If you try and reset your password before clicking on this, you're stuck - unless you have another e-mail address.

That’s not true. I didn’t click the email before pressing the reset button and it came through pretty quickly. Still a stupid set up process though.

Maidstone radio commentators were ok and thought 3-2 flattered Maidstone- as did i

Seems like an issue they should have spotted before launching the site. Same thing for me

I have got the forgot password link though it went straight to junk

In a rare moment of defending the authorities they did move this a while ago in case it clashed with England game so that they didn’t have to mess everyone about at short notice after they had bought train tickets etc. they can’t put it back to 3pm at this late notice

Clearly that’s the case but it shouldn’t be. It is not there to protect premier league clubs who don’t play at 3 pm anyway!  Farcical decision by the powers that be.

How the hell is there live domestic footy on bbc 1 at 3pm on a Saturday!  To make matters worse for the the second round running it’s FGR!

Because less than 50% of the League 1/2/championship games are at 3pm

The rest of us don’t count then. I thought the 3pm ban was there to protect grass roots not the pockets of the bigger clubs

Our centre backs were immense today. Byrne needs to sort his kicking out. Silly free kick for osbourne to give away, I like him more than most on here but he does have an alarming tendency to give away silly fouls in dangerous places. Wasn’t overly impressed with Jennings vs York but he grew on me today, lots of balls stuck to him I thought he had no chance to control

Have you seen how green the pitch is? GREEN.The

Any decent club, any professional club, would grow grass that matches their home kit.

Not good enough, and the board just sit there twiddling their thumbs.

Sort it.

Don’t be daft the players will not be able to see each other clearly against red and white stripped grass, honestly, some people on here……

Just about all the vitriolic stuff being complained about is words being put in other peoples’ mouths. Often by the people complaining about the amount of vitriol on the forum!
