If anyone is registered on any burnley forums it would be well worth cutting and pasting the article from the main site and posting it on them as the game is advertised as burnley X1 and this news will definately bring more of them out for it

Burnley have always advertised  that it is Burnley rather than a Burnley XI

In order to get some advertising out we would have had to call it a Burnley XI as we wouldn't have known the make up of the squad at the time

I noticed that Burnley only deemed Barrow worthy of their 'development' side the other night, Burnley's  kids duly got a 3-0 pumping at Holker Street.

Extra well done to the club then for getting a full Championship squad to come to Moss Lane, hopefully the crowd and some sunshine will reward us.

Even in the middle of summer though I spose Barrow is a tough sell. :D

I'm pretty sure Sky sent a live reporter down for the same fixture last summer, he was set up at the back of the main stand.

It's Burnley not Barcelona

They had a reporter at last years fixture sending updates and had cameras at the city friendly, they cover the premiership and championship clubs preseason games pretty extensively.....
