What round of the FA cup do we start in this season?

Is it first qualifying?

And I'm not going to say we desparately need a cup run this season..................

A set of the easy home draws that we're well overdue to get us through five rounds, then United at Old Trafford in Round 3.

My prediction.......
2nd Qual. Poole Town 0-6 Alty
3rd Qual. Alty 4-2 FC United of Manchester
4th Qual. Alty 3-1 Hayes & Yeading United

1st Round Proper. Plymouth Argyle 2-3 Alty  ;D
2nd Round Proper Alty 2-2 Colchester (5-4 to us on pens)
3rd Round Proper Wigan Athletic 5-1 Alty

Satisfied!

We won't get Poole or H & Y. It's regionalized at that stage.

Forgot guernsey would be in it. Unlucky for which ever non-league outfit gets them away, unless Guernsey has to pay for transport in the cup competitions as well.

Hope we manage to get a decent run.

don't think they will be eligible in their first season. I think new teams have to have played in the FA vase the previous before they can play in the FA cup. I'm sure that was the rule for FCUM anyway.

Chester aren't eligible to take part in the FA Cup till next season. But they can take part in the FA Trophy this season.
