« on: September 30, 2016, 10:48:54 AM »

Thanks to SK Kits, we've a shirt to give away to promote the fa cup game this weekend.

To enter, share our MATCH COMPETITION POSTER POST (posted at 12pm on fb) and we'll draw one lucky winner out on Saturday at 5pm

That single post reached over 8,500 local people and the number is still growing.

Edit. Over 10,000.

Was this promotion regarded as a success?  There was a modest increase in the attendance, but I imagine that it's hard to determine how many people were tempted by the lower admission price.

If future promotions are to use Facebook, how about counting people who actually "Check In" to the stadium on match day, or who can prove they actually attend the match?

The competition helped push the prices to people who may or may not otherwise have seen them. It's the first time I've seen the club do a giveaway. So numbers wise we're pretty happy with it.

We've a few ideas for promotions that involve quoting a code to turnstiles  to win a prize
