Just had a look at it and if we win the two games in hand we have over numerous clubs it won't look too bad. Come on alty
-
All to play for and more than half the season to go , january could be a big month if all scheduled games take place.
-
Still looking good, roll on Saturday
-
Maybe a change or two tactically or positinally after that awful second half showing
-
The team in 15th position are only six points away from the play offs. Chester look certain to win it but there is still everything to play for. If Altrincham can avoid injuries to key players there is every reason to be optimistic.
-
It is definitley there to play for, for whoever wants it
-
We're certainly capable of finishing fifth. The problem is that we would almost certainly end up with a trip to Guiseley as our "reward".
-
I see Hinckley got a draw v moors!!! Get in, promotion push?
-
I agree with Mount Street - did i really say that?
Also add into the mix that the games to come (league position wise) are stacked in our favour against the games already played.
I keep saying we are not as bad as people make out we are. Playoffs are a real possibility. Although some of the football at times is not great we ARE improving I firmly believe it.

We have to improve at home (to state the obvious).
We have so many home games remaining against teams below us, we will only have ourselves to blame if we miss out on the playoffs this year.
-
If we don't make playoffs we do only have ourselves to blame the team is good enough if we show enough fight and improve tactics I'd say only Chester guisley and Halifax better
-
the trinity loss at home was huge and it could of been in our hands but now its all if's and but's as usual.

i agree the team apart from the defence is good enough and that's what frustrates most, we are maybe 1 or 2 players from a really good side.

It was huge but they have proved since then they are no mugs. Glad to have played them twice.

Lets wait until saturday, Harrogate won't be easy
-
Harrogate will be very tough, I would take a draw now after performance vs Staly at home.
-
You can't take a draw in home matches against teams that won't make playoffs

We have so many home games remaining against teams below us, we will only have ourselves to blame if we miss out on the playoffs this year.
Just to expand on this point:
I think the main reason we have been poor at home is because he have played teams that are better than us. Of the five home games we have lost this season, four have come against teams currently occupying the top four places. The table doesn't lie.
That said, we have still have seven home games to play against opposition who are in the bottom half. The seven games against teams placed 14th and below (Solihul, Gloucester, Corby, Bishop Stortford, Colwyn Bay, Droyslden) are all winnable fixtures and i'd be very disappointed if we got less than five wins and two draws (17 points from a possible 21) from these fixtures.

This is what I have been saying all along since the first few defeats against Chester and Brackley. Our time WILL come. I do believe that we will be make the play offs or at worst be just outside them. Whilst I support LS we will now only have ourselves to blame if we dont make the play offs. As commented about I do also believe we are a couple good players short of a real promotion prospect side. But this year could be one year too early for us to sustain the Premier level.

Whilst still a lot of football to be played (and some crucial games in the run in), it will be good if in the top 5 that last 2 games are Hinckley away an Droylsden home, currently the bottom 2.

A long way to go yet, but defo heading in the right direction and the last few games have not been against the cannon fodder either. Encouraging.
