I know some will disagree, but to be so flat and pull a result out considering our next two league games, and our usual form against the bottom 5, massive massive result, and out of 19th place for the first time in three months, delighted
-
Yes the 3 points is the main thing. Clee and Ranks made the difference after they came on, looked a different level to the rest of our forwards today.
Boreham Wood must be baffled about how they didn't score.
A lucky win but 3 points is the main thing and with tough fixtures to come we'll need to play a lot better than that
-
Yes three points from must win game , we once again struggle to beat team below us , and we will I'm sure play better against the better teams , good to see us get off 19 th place .

Well, that was a cure for insomnia, but a win is a win. I don't know who won motm, but for me it was either Griff or Si with a special mention for the improving Sam Heathcote - also loved the tireless running of Reevesy with absolutely no service whatsoever. Our subs were much much too good for their tiring legs and that was the difference.

Spot on assessment, Si was MOM.

Is that the worst win since Braintree last October? Anyway, three points, well done all.
On a side note, I see Colchester conceded another 4 today.
-
Moult was the best player on the pitch by a country mile
-
dull and cold - but a huge 3 points in the bag- boom

That defence of theirs is very poor....all three goals they gave away last week were sloppy and unprofessional. They're definitely vulnerable.
-
We will beat them at there ground aswell
-
They were this seasons Dartford.

Yes he was

According to Skysports they have conceded more goals than any other team in the FL.

I think Boreham Wood are too tight and strong to go down, I'd be concerned if I were Welling, Barrow or Guisley. Not out of the woods today ourselves. Mind you just add 6pts to our tally and see where that puts us
-
I'm I right in thinking, first double of season and , second win against lower opposition .
-

Simon fully deserving of MoM for me, well though Jake played. Thought he was immense. Used the ball well, covered acres of ground, as ever, and put in some phenomenal tackles, the sort that not only won us possession but rattled the opposition. His best performance for quite a while, in my view.
-
3pts is 3pts we'll take it
-
Happy with the 3 points I don't think it's as vital as Pete however very useful

John,
Whilst I heartily agree that Simon Richman was our man of the match yesterday, I would also contend that he was our best player in the recent FA Cup victory over Barnsley.
-
You're mistaking him for Scott Leather against Barnsley Cult.

I expect Barcelona are glad we aren't in La Liga ;)
-
For the record our biggest win since Guiseley was Macc. since then Barnsley.
I suppose this is the biggest since Barnsley.
Barnsley win yday btw.

Congratulations on having removed the home match against Braintree from your memory.

Well spotted.

This is our first double in the Conference National without conceding a goal since the defeats of Northwich Victoria in 2008-09, which included Jody Banim's only goal for Alty!
