Very impressed and encouraged by the article. Always think its nice that the players appreciate the fans and what a very honest piece of writing it was.

Thanks Robbie, its appreciated by me, and the win to go with it .. EXCELLENT

Onwards and upwards...

Robbie is as honest off the field as he is on it. I said to the lads I was standing with last night that he's developing into a latter day Johnny King. Great captaincy, great effort, and a big factor in a great result.

a lot of people questioned why Robbie was captain.....now they have their answer.

Excellent leadership and barve honest words much appreciated.....to come over to the fans after being dicked 5-0 shows some bottle and it is clear from his words about him being paid while the fans pay to travel he is more intelligent than your average footballer.

I think when played in his correct postion Robbie is as good as anyone we could get....with the added benefit he will play if asked in other positions without moaning and causing a dressing room rift.

Good to hear there is no division in the camp either.

Never doubted Robbie, saw him trying his hardest at Torquay and given the lads encouragement.dont want him kicking the oppositions dressing room door and shouting abuse at em before the game though. But yes i can se some resemblance to kingys leadership

Im sure Robbie himself would admit he isnt the most skilled footballer we have but thats really not important. Over the years weve performed well with a Robbie Lawton firng on all cylinders in the team. Carmo, Hulme and now Lawton. He gets about and sets an amazing example. With his effort levels rubbing off on the other players we'll fight an ugly fight back up the table and build from there.

Great programme notes, just gutted i couldnt be there to see him translate it on the pitch last night.

Well done Robbie Lawton!

Lawton - villian to hero.

Everyone saying he should be dropped, no skill, too slow, cant tackle.

I myself have said he was not up to it - JEEZ HOW WE HAVE ALL BEEN MADE TO EAT OUR WORDS.

ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS ROBBIE - KEEP IT UP - YOUR DOING YOURSELF, TEAM AND FANS PROUD OF YOUR COMMITMENT AND PLAYING STRENGTHS.

Robbie is a credit to the club, and a great Captain.. He always has time to chat off the field and on he spurs on the rest of lads on it.

Keep em going Robbie ...

I believe he is head of the Phys trg dept at a college... I bet the students think the same of him as we do...
