Back in late May when it was announced that Michael Twiss had signed for Alty, I reckon quite a few of us forumites thought he would be an ideal replacement for Colin Little who had retired and not played for a large part of last season apart from Cameo roles as sub.
Hope was high for this season then both Greg and Chris left for pastures knew..
Michael did not or could not be arsed (otherwise he would have turned up to pre season a lot fitter than he did). to pick up the mantle that Colin left when he retired.
With that, our goal scoring hope was immediately taken away, personally I think Twiss could perform quite comfortably in this league if he so wished, and I do think that his lack of fitness is a major reason why we are currently in the brown stuff.

Since then he's been in and out, sometimes playing well, others looking a bit dodgy and nervous. If he gets a chance with the new man he should do well. If not, it's worth us keeping out ear to the ground about a loan deal.
