In that case while not necessarily disrespectful I think you're really stretching it to make it a coincidence.

I'm not entirely convinced that it's correct anyway incidentally.

It's just a bit of fun, there's no need to be uptight about it. I don't think I'm stretching anything.

I got this fact out of the program for Mark's testimonial.

I think it's a slightly out of place and spurious question if you don't mind me sayong so, but if you're trying to link in Michael Twiss to Mad Dogs Alty career then if the answer is he's the last person Mad Dog passed the ball to/from in an Alty shirt then maybe you should have a quiet word with yourself.

That's not it at all. The answer is, as stated above, that Twiss played directly against him on his debut.

I don't think that's disrespectful at all, it's just an interesting little coincidence.

Apart from the fact that the answer given is incorrect!

Mark Maddox's first game for Alty occurred in a pre-season friendly at Poulton Victoria on 27th July 1996.
You need to proofread his testimonial match programme more carefully!

His debut at Moss Lane took place on 7th August 1996 versus that Manchester United XI containing a slimmer; keener and more mobile incarnation of Michael Twiss.
