Title: kendal mint
Post by: dino on October 17, 2007, 11:48:45 PM
attended wincham park on tuesday ..i have to report that kendal were woeful and didnt test witton defence at all.Whilst being respectful of any team, if we focus and play positively i dont envisage problems ahead.Warlows 3 goals were quality, and has assets which will enable him  to play in BSP or higher .

I too was at the game last night, and (we) Kendal Town missed too many chances when we had our best spell of the game. Having said that, Witton did take their chances well.

I am not a keyboard warrior at all (as suggested in an earlier thread). I have answered some questions tonight  on our forum that were posted by altyfan...anything else you need to know, then please catchme here:-

We look forward to your visit, any ideas of numbers that will travel ?? Keep it reallistic as I only ask that we can have all the catering, programmes etc ready for you.

And YES. I'm still tipping us to go through...no emoticons at all  :D...sh*t, I didn't mean that !!

I'd put travelling numbers at about 200, although could be as high as 250.

I think we took about 250 to Tamworth in the 4th qualifying round last year, similiar journey timewise.

I thought Kendal were dangerous at set-pieces. I thought their keeper was dodgy with his decision making. He came out of his area when didn't need to, stayed back on the second goal making Warlow's task of scoring easier. I reckon it will go to a replay back at moss lane.

is a replay what we need?
part time team in a full time league and that could we be faced with a fixture pile up?

In this instance, getting them  back to Moss Lane would be fine.
