Get in there!
Early goal will hopefully kill their already fragile confidence!
-
bet that has shut up that silly child that was on our forum
-
believe that they announced own goal at the game, but most thought that it was little who scored. Created by some great play by Dale johnson.
-
No Waterfall i see
-
Come on Alty.....
-
need us to be 3 up by half time as i have a hospital appointment for 4 30
BBC has stopped after smiths clearance
-
No Waterfall i see
I'd guess he's gone back to Tranmere, since the initial one-month loan is up and we've now signed Jamie Smith.
-
The BBC Gloucestershire link simply has a message stating that the current programme is not available due to either a contractual or technical difficulty......ahh well
-

Perhaps Colin Peake didn't fill in the relevant consent form correctly....?
-
Been searching for a way to fix it...think I may have cracked it..see you at six..
Performance: If your RealPlayer's playback is terrible (mine was), you have to do some manual editing. First of all, you need to copy and paste the following command into the terminal:
gksudo gedit /usr/bin/realplay
Next, find the line "echo "Warning: LD_PRELOAD=\"$LD_PRELOAD\"", and underneath "fi", paste these two lines:
LD_PRELOAD="$LDPRELOAD:/usr/lib/libaoss.so"
export LD_PRELOAD
Save and close. Also, open RealPlayer's preferences and go to "Transport", once you're there, select "Use specified transport". Then go into the two configuration options beneath that and untick everything except "http". You can also select your connection speed in preferences, and tell RealPlayer not to send connection info back to real.com.
Language Packs: Those of you who are having problems with SCIM (the popular input method for multiple languages), and are receiving the "segmentation fault" error, should carry out instructions similar to those above, and execute the following command in the terminal:
gksudo gedit /usr/bin/realplay
Finally, add the following instruction to the top of the RealPlayer script:
export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim
Close and save the changes, then restart RealPlayer.

-

-
Get in there! Big Chris!!
-
here we go 2-0 down to a side FGR should be beating
-
"2-0 down against a team they really should be beating."
How's that then?
-
Brilliant, the clowns doing the radio commentary have just said "altrincham are a team forrest green really should be beating" HAHA!
-
well that is two of the three you want by HT!!!
CHRIS SENIOR MAKES IT TWO NIL
-
Peyton on for Densmore. Not sure how that will have affected the formation - I presume we were back to the old 3-4-3 to start with.
-
3-0 now
-
oops 3-0 now.
of course FGR should be winning.
-
Shall i get greedy
-
YOU BEAUTY !!!!!
-
2-0! Chris Senior, come on lads!!! 3-0!! Senior again.......once I'm out of the country we go goal crazy!!!
-
I wonder if those fools from FGR will be on our website tonight LMAO
-
Could really do with several goals today to improve our goal difference. GET IN THERE ;D ;D ;D
-
Three as requested!
BBC chap says the points are wrapped up! DANGEROUS!!
It would however be nice to get revenge for that humping we took down there when me and JTH had to go and "have a word" in the players bar...
-
need us to be 3 up by half time as i have a hospital appointment for 4 30
BBC has stopped after smiths clearance
Are you happy now
-
Northwich one up
Very happy thanks
-
To quote a classic Human League track:
"These are the things, these are the things, the things that dreams are made of!!"
-
Who scored the 3rd? Radio went funny again
-
Chris Senior from Cols pass
-
blast 1-3
-
Salisbury last year anyone?
-
No NO NO
-
God damn.....go away for a few minutes and the goals flood in.....and I seemed to have missed out on the radio commentary too.....I'm getting the same recorded error message about trying again later.
-
Salisbury last year anyone?
Not even contemplating that!
-
3-1, careful now, lets get to HT....
-
Sounds like Robbie Lawton has picked up his now customary booking.
-
Just need to stay tight until 1/2 time then defend high in second half - keep the buggers out of our half!
-
We seem to have enough going forward to give them problems, we can score more - don't worry! :-\
-
and we have been playing better in the second half
-
Luton are 2-1 up to D&R.
-
2 minutes of injury time
right thats me off.
COME ON YOU ROBINS
-
No commentary, but maybe that's a blessing.
-
these internet radio links always seem to get left open at half-time. currently i'm getting the sound of people queuing for a cup of tea.
and the winning raffle ticket numbers.

Count yourself lucky....at least the link works for you.
-
The commentators at BBC Radio Oxord United could learn a thing from these two.
-
handball - no point dwelling on it, well why have you spent three mins talking about it then?
-
59 alty fans
-
vics 1 all
-
Vics 1-1 *And stamp has been sent off , COME ON YOU REDS
-
vics down to ten men, shame eh?
-
rover now being over run in mid field - that's better!
-
vics down to 10 men, devastating news lol :'(
also - whats up with salisbury? theyve had a few disciplinary issues so far this season - down to 9 again! ???
COME ON ALTY! Keep up the hard work!
-
Anyone on here actually living outside the UK got this radio link to work?
Still trying to plough through all of the threads from the last week (had friends over from UK and was not online). Christ we don't do ourselves any favours at times.....the thread on the whole peake thing; what was all that about?

Thanks USA, thought it may be to do with being outside the UK.
-
Has anyone heard how james smith is playing, DIG IN . This will be some confidence boost if we can hang on, maybe the start of the new run we were talking about. come on!
-
Has anyone heard an FGR chant? Can hear the lads..
59 Alty supporters making all the noise in an attendance of 851.
Doesn't look like many Nailsworth kids chose to go free....
-
Perfect time for elam to be introduced, boy are squad has shaped up really nicely this season
-
is this the first time little, senior and johnson have all started together?
-
851 they really have had it havn't they, full time on that - pathetic
-

james smith is very highly rated acoording to county fan colleague i know he reckons hes far too good for bsp footy
-
think all three started vs wrexham in sultana shield
-
Jennifer & I just got home to see this - excellent stuff.
Anyone expecting FGR Bhoy on any time soon?
-
fgr just mised a sitter!
-
Come on ALty got the radio tuned
-
Bloody hell i have had a heavy peaking this week... not even said fook all!
-
FGR's Les Afful.....one of the few players in this league who is actually smaller than Chris Senior...
-
muff falling apart 0-3
-
nothing wrong with small
-
DAnny Adams and Kevin Ellison both sent off
-
F**K me last 5-10 minutes, come on boys, surely not...
-
Altrincham getting credit for their shape and ability to stop FGR playing. That would be the positive version of the "getting everyone behind the ball like you'd expect from them" type ecomments coming out of Luton then.
-
two ex alty players sent off in same min. Ellison for chester and adams for morcambe, they are playing each other wonder if it was a fight?
-
To be fair the commentators are being quite complementary - saying we're defending well, Ralph not much to do etc.
-
Danny for second booking Kevin for Professional Foul according to SKY Sports News
-
sing up for the lads, great support can be heard
-
commentator has cramp!!!!!!!!!!!
-
'FGR in serious relegation problems'
What a shame!!
-
fgr already hoping to win the agm cup!
-
Danny Adams & Kev Ellison both sent off (in same match at same time)
-
"Altrincham are are team they really should be beating"
Bring on the Luton!
-
ft - bring on the hatters - be there Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
three minutes apart according to live text. adams for second booking, ellison straght red for a foul.
-
blimey they swithced that off quick.
-
great result - well done lads! :)
roll on tuesday now!
-
Barrow concede late, late goal.If they lose, Alty in top half of table. ;D ;D ;D
-
anyone know if doughty or robbie are due suspensions after the bookings today?
-
Closing comment:
"You shouldn't lose games at home, with respect, to Altrincham if you want to retain your position in this league."
Nine points above FGR.
Enough said.
-
Great Result!! Well done Alty ;D
-
Barrow concede late, late goal.If they lose, Alty in top half of table. ;D ;D ;D

Great result by the lads today. ;D ;D ;D

Rushden & D'monds 0 - 1 Kidderminster FT
York 1 - 2 Torquay R
Mansfield 3 - 0 Salisbury FT
Crawley Town 2 - 2 Cambridge Utd FT
Stevenage 1 - 1 Northwich FT
Eastbourne Borough 0 - 0 Woking FT
Grays Athletic 2 - 0 Oxford Utd FT
Lewes 0 - 1 Burton Albion L
Weymouth 1 - 3 Wrexham R
-
Just what we needed today!
Well done lads now lets do all we can on tuesday!
-
5,402 at Luton today.
-
So that's the kind of crowd we can expect when we go there next year in the league.
-
Good results lads.....probably means another GH is God reminder from Hugh who predicted today's score, attendance and weather.
It can't have escaped Hugh's interest that we have scored 3 times as many goals today as we have in our last 3 league matches.....so we seem to be back on the rails.
Bring on Luton....Heathcote in....stopper me if you like.
-
Great result!
They really should be beating teams like us!! ;D ;D ;D
Nine points off the relegation places and only six of the play-off places.
It's ok, I'm not getting carried away. I'm more than happy with mid-table obscurity.

-
5,402 at Luton today.
Does that mean more people are happy to pay £20 to watch Dagenham instead of us?
-

All we need now is someone to buy Jefferson Louis from Wrexham.
-
well played alty. came with the right game plan. you seem a much stronger outfit this time round. think those who went today from altrincham could see the problems we've had this season replacing those players who left us for higher wages during the summer. hopefully we'll be away from the relegation zone and further up the league when we take you on later in the season at your place.
-
Also browsing on the FGR forum they are very happy that we have stuffed them ;D
-

Our game plan worked a treat - few pints in the George, then back to town for Brads and Trucks to get giddy on the Black Rat at the Village Inn........... ;)

About six weeks ago at Salisbury.

Aren't those 2 mutually exclusive anyway? ;)
-
Well done Alty - not only a top half place, but a return to the top half after a little wobble in recent weeks (proves we're made of stronger stuff this season). Well done too to fgrfan for a magnanimous post after some of the nonsense from their fans on this forum lately. Can't wait until Tuesday now.
-
Just found out the result, fantastic stuff! Head Dale played really well? Can anyone who went shed any light?
Cheers!
-
From BBC report
"Senior fired home in the 28th minute from close range before grabbing his second, latching onto the end of a Little cross to shoot home. "
Senior's first was anything but "fired", in fact is was brilliantly lobbed over the keeper from just inside the box.
Dale did indeed play really well. On numerous occaisions he just passed their left back and got really dangerous balls into the box from the by-line, often from inside the area. Looked dead on his feet when he was subbed.
I was told by the steward that their number 9 Mangan will be reported as one of the stewards also noticed his gesture towards us.
-
Great result and sounds like Johnson was real a handful, hope this continues on Tuesday.
What I want to know is, when the FGR fans were leaving before the final whistle (I'm guessing some did) did the Alty fans sing 'We can see you PEAKING out'?
I'll get my coat.
-
Heard Dale played really well?
he did. looked a really assured player at this level. good signing in the summer for you guys. he is one of the kind of signings jim harvey was making last season - seems to have gone a different way this season. he caused a real headache for our makeshift left back, paul stonehouse yesterday which i think alty noticed and therefore most attacks went down this way and was possibly a cause of the first goal. alty tried the left side earlier but found the more experienced jerry gill a little harder to deal with. i'd keep on to dale if i were you although he didn't look too happy with a bit of a knock at the end before coming off i think.
