When I think of him, I think of a portly player with great feet  who never passed.

However it does get forgotten that he did this...

After a keeping howler. That was an enjoyable evening. I seem to remember they battered us but we won 1-0. Lee Elam got a bit scard when Chris Lane was after him 

I briefly scouted a few Non-League matches last season, including going to watch Droylsden. Banim looked overweight and off the pace in the BSBN. Tony Gray, who is now doing nothing at Southport, looked head and shoulders above everyone else. Unless Banim has lost A LOT of weight and got his desire back, I doubt he's got much left to offer.

In other news Carlos Logan leaves Northwich Vics for Droyslden and Southport Trio Tony McMillan, Shaun Whalley and Alan Moogan (their more or less 3 bext players) have signed Unibond league forms for Skelmersdale United and will play for them in the Unibond play offs when Southport's season finishes.

Bit naughty that! Thats like us lending Trafford Coburn,Clee and Reeves when theres no possibility of them ever playing for them again after the play offs.

I thought thats naughty too, but then again if the rules let you do it then fair play for thinking about it ...

Would mean though that they may end up in a false position as won't have players like that at their disposal week in and week out IF they get promoted so therefore could make it more difficult for them in the long term to compete ?
