Why does Perry get such a hard time? He puts himself about and at least tries to make things happen. He just gets abuse for no reason in my opinion. Smikle however should never wear an Alty shirt again, he's toilet.

Perry gets a hard time from me because he is over weight and consequently very slow with the ball at his feet.  I think it is his professional duty to get fitter and faster.  Yesterday, we saw a glimpse of what he can do, but no team at this level can afford to carry a player who only shows the odd glimpse of his talent.
Smikle confessed that he had fallen out of love with football at his previous club.  His transfer to Alty does not appear to have reignited his love and therefore he should be shown the door asap.
