With Nuneaton in red and black you almost had all 3!

Did you have the ref on a bit of commission today Ian  ;)

I think it was Dennis Birch who got the ref to change the shirts - the bloke never fkn shut when he saw the teams come out  :D

Most important of all was another good win

We could'nt believe the ref OK'd their kit before kick-off! Suited me fine, as it did Jamie Davidson.

The volunteers who wash the kit are gonna be a bit confused with 2 kits to wash!

Nuneaton play in blue and White, so why they needed to change at all is beyond me

Obviously, Numneaton Town did not check league handbook. Then the ref forgot to call at Specsavers.

Nice to see that the front of Nuneaton's shirt is a tribute to Coburn's immaculate performance against them in that FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie back in October 2001....

And that was simply crass stupidity by the referee yesterday to allow both teams to start in those predominantly red kits.

There is or was a competition rule, seemingly not in BSBN, maybe in what was the Unibond but I remember us being affected by it which says that no two teams can play each other on striped shirts.

That being said, to have anticipated that he would get away with the two starting kits was naive to say the least
