Tonight just confirmed yet again why I would always much rather watch Alty play than England?

I guessed it was going to be drab so watched Notts v Derbys T20 on Youtube - not a T20 fan but more exciting than the football!!!

Was in Paisley today and there was a stall selling Scotland flags and scarves etc....was tempted to put on my poshest English accent to ask: "I don't suppose one has an England flag by any chance?"
But I can't run fast!

Honestly, I found myself backing Scotland towards the end of the game tonight, mainly because they reminded me of Alty. Maybe lacking in world beaters, but playing with desire and heart.

I know people roll their eyes whenever an underdog is described as ‘plucky’ or ‘full of courage’, but it was great to see.

England passing it across the back all the time looked vaguely familiar

And playing without a decent striker (Kane playing more like Fis all the time!)
