Phil's interview re Gateshead
« on: October 16, 2022, 08:28:11 AM »

I feel a lot better after yesterday's game, listening to Phil's interview. He spoke very honestly about the game, and the problems surrounding it with the squad. I have a better understanding of the changes and enjoyed what he had to say. I think we should also give credit to Gateshead for the way they came out to attack us. Both teams had their moments, and either team would have won the game with better finishing or decision making.

We are where we are now, and I am sure with a better knowledge of Gateshead's weaknesses we can get a good result.

I thought Gateshead looked good.

They might feel that was their opportunity - or at least hopefully that will be the case - especially if we do get a couple of players back.
