Doran's red card

Can we/will we be appealing against the decision?

The concensus seems to be that it was a harsh sending off.

From where I  was sat I'm afraid both feet appeared to be off the ground !! Think he went for ball, but if all studs are raised I don't think we'd stand a chance of appeal ( shame really he was looking pretty good tonight )  :-\

The sending off seemed fair to me and no one really appealed that much which says a lot looked 2 footed from where I was and totally unnecesarry that aside a fantastic result well done

It looked a booking and a bit reckless to be honest. I was surprised it was a red but at the same time I could see why it was given. I was a long way from it though.

It did seem a bit harsh, but being at the other end then i couldnt really see what had happened. However the alty players were a bit upset with the red, i think they thought it only warrented a yellow. Also the official site has the decision as "to the amazement of most spectators, referee Bond produced a red rather than a yellow card for Alty's new man".

Then again i thought the ref was one of the worst we have had all season.

He jumped in too footed, definite sending off, shame though because he seemed very good!
Also, well done Denham, if he didn't give Opinel a little knick behind the legs, it wouldn't have provoked any response from him.

Opinel had just come back from a one match ban so I expect his manager wasnt too impressed with him.

Opinel was chopsing to the linesman all the game up to his sending off.  seemed a bit of an arrogant sh*t to me..

Plus he wore gloves. The Wuz..

and he is French ;)

I didnt recognise him without his sonic the hedgehog hair cut, either during the game or when he bought a pint in the bar after the game.

I bet his manager was really chuffed. Almost half-time, with a man advantage and he reacts like that. Wonder if he will packed of back to Farnborough this week?
