Mark McGregor leaves and new signing(s)

See official site.

Russell Saunders has signed and judging by the team photo it looks like we've possibly signed Robbie Williams and Aaron Chalmers too.

Aaron Chalmers also on the team photo so maybe he's signed too. Losing McGregor is a big blow but i'm presuming him going has enabled us to bring the other players. Very pleased we've signed Saunders especially with Coburn not fully fit,he's looked quality in pre season. Just hope this doesn't mean 4 4 2 with Lawton on the right of midfield!

Very disappointed at the news that McGregor appears to be moving on.

I thought that both him and Young were our most consistent performers last season.

Gutted if McGregor goes, he reads the game so well. I am guessing that Graham will be favouring a flat back four this season.

RB Densmore
CB Young
CB Smith
LB Doughty

Until Welch is fit anyway unless he's going to throw Williams straight in but i'm not sure about him.

Complete guess this but maybe McGregor was made a good offer by a welsh club, we saw a chance to use his money to get williams and Saunders in so we thought it was good business.

I know that Ken McKenna rates Williams highly and he is not the oldest I don't think.

As people say McGregor waas good for us last year but sometimes there is more to these deals than we get to find out..(rightly so of course)

the front row of that picture has a strike force that would strike fear into any oppostion, just a shame ken mc it too old to play these days!

i don't honestly think i have seen a man look as chuffed as mckenna does on all the club pictures i have seen him in he truey has come home.

Gutted about McGregor to be honest, he was really solid and bossed and read the game from the back superbly.

Does anyone know what Chalmers' favoured postion is?  Also can he play up front?

mcgregor is good but at 32 rather lose him than young or even smith

Aaron Chalmers is a centre midfielder.

Aaron Chalmers is a centre midfielder.

So he'll play ring wing then.

Bit gutted about McGregor, read the game better than most, and when Young dropped a bollock generally clean it up.

On the other hand totally delighted we've signed Saunders, two quality keepers. Williams and Chlamers I've not seen enough to say but good luck Mark McGregor
