Title: WELL DONE TRAVELLING FANS
Post by: ALTYGAL on March 29, 2010, 02:09:22 PM: It was nice to read Mr Peake has actually acknowledged our excellent travelling fans, who once again acted in a respectful manner towards an injured player. Other clubs and their so called fans ( no names but they do have a lot of sheep near them ) take note !!

I was merely pointing out it was nice that he had put it in writing, I wasn't asking anyone to be grateful! :(

But then ruined it by pointing that he'd put the guy up in a hotel as if everyone should be grateful to him!

I also feel that the Alty fans' articulate and wonderfully elegiac lament periodically recited to the referee and linesman should have brought similar recognition.

Grump over.

PS Who on earth decided to put the ground on top of that hill? Have they no respect or consideration for the elderly?
