Regular readers will recall that I feared a Christmas double-header with Vauxhall Motors. The spanner in the works that is Bishops Stortford has made even THAT unlikely. I see the following :-

Blyth Spartans v Workington (nobody on the doorstep of either club, no further between the two than nearest option, Harrogate Town)
Guiseley v Harrogate Town (natural derby)
Droylsden v Hyde (natural derby)
AFC Halifax v Stalybridge Celtic (logical match after the above derbies)
Colwyn Bay v Vauxhall Motors (nobody else near North Wales !)
Gainsborough Trinity v Eastwood Town (logical match before the following four derbies)
Boston United v Corby Town
Hinckley United v Nuneaton Town
Bishops Stortford v Histon
Gloucester City v Worcester City

Which would appear to leave us in limbo, along with Solihull fkn Moors

No, I think we'll get a real glamour tie against Pacey's mob over Christmas. Not quite 2000 vs Wrexham but at least they'll be no one in our end trying to start on us or assault our stewards.

guisley halifax is a natural deby and that  leaves us with Workington . we have played xmas fixtures against barrow in the past .as mud once said its gunna be lonely this xmas
