THANK YOU & WELL DONE ALTY
« on: February 07, 2010, 12:36:44 AM »

My son was one of the three matchday mascots today at Alty.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to all who made his day such a memorable one.
He was welcomed into the Alty dressing room and was a bit shy but from the moment he was offered a jaffa cake to him by GH he didnt look back. I was so proud of him going down the line of players and shaking hands - he's only 3 bless him.
A great day that he will treasure for a long time to come.
Oh yeah i keep forgetting - WE BLOODY WON 5-0 TOO - HOW BOUT THAT THEN EH!
Well done to ALL the players from both teams. Lets be honest if City had got a few of their shots on target or Stu didnt make some good saves it couldve been 5-5.
I LOVE MY CLUB AND ITS THE WAY IT IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE OTHERS WHO LOVE IT TOO.
ps In the bar after the game George said wants to play for Alty one day - you never know.

Forget tactics & training, it seems just giving the squad Jaffa Cakes might do the trick!
