Having been a supporter for some thirty five years I cannot remember ever having been verbally abused by one of my own supporters.
To the "Individual" who hopped across the front of the community sports hall at saturdays Wrexham game with an entourage of four St johns Ambulance staff and the Safety Officer I say learn some respect, to shout  "MOVE you f***ing fat bastard" right in my face was  not acceptable.

He wouldn't have had a leg to stand on if he'd said that to me  ;D

...erm did the entourage mot have something to say?.....im curious, how did you know it was an alty fan?.....were you blocking the TV?

I agree it was unacceptable behaviour but apart from a few well known alty followers (and as you have been a fan for 35 years you would know these people) I've never heard of anything like this...

Thanks guys, let me put a little clarification on this.
I am a 70 year old Registered Disabled person, I was listening to a comment on the game from the people next to me and heard the Safety steward and the St Johns people call out "stand back please, So we looked down at them to see why, not expecting a person to come hopping along the terrace using the crush bar to help.
We were watching the game, not in the community hall.
The person came from the golf road end stand I am advised so I assume an alty fan as it was the first half. ?
The First aid people said he had gone off in a taxi, which is why I assume a local person.
Maybe I will meet him again!!!

I'm sure if he was an Alty fan, somebody will know who it was.

Was he the one who was being helped along the terrace because he might have broken his leg?

The First aid people said he had gone off in a taxi.......
Ah, that explains it: an explosive character.  ;)

I believe the chap to whom you refer was a Wrexham fan who had been seated in the main stand although I may be wrong
