just looked at this investment scheme, its very complicated just to sign up,you have to correctlly answer 7 questions to do with general investing and i got 4 out of the 7 correct and was told i had failed,so i cannot invest in the clubWill spend some of my money on a book about    The Manchester, South Junction and Altrincham Railway: v. 34 (Oakwood Library of Railway History)
Dixon, Frank

I assume you've already got The Cheshire Lines by Nigel Dyckhoff - Skelton Junction is well featured in that one.

I am not a railway historian, but have got that book, which was published years ago (assuming I have not got confused with another book). It's very good for local history, with one or two snippets which I won't  spoil.

You can try a number of times until you get the correct answers. It's just to make sure you understand that there's a risk you could lose your money.

The oldest suburban railway in the world, apparently. And people just take it for granted!

Allegedly there's a WW2 bomb shelter (or some such) at Skelton junction, though I've never seen it myself.

Mine’s accessible by a hatch in the ceiling by a ladder.

My vote would be for more loos and subsidised beer prices.

Subsidised away travel for me. We  used to take transport to every league game and probably took a few more, certainly in terms of percentage of home support. Would be very welcome with costs so high.
