Does the sqaud that went to Stoke show how many players *could* have gone hybrid?

6 players you'd expect to start against Torquay, plus some youth teams, triallist and sqaud players.

The makeshift Alty team last night stuck at the task on a poor plastic pitch, thought a harsh penalty and there only shot on target from them all night. We created a few good openings, but we improved once the second half subs came on with renewed impetus, Miller did well with good energy. Kosylo free kick was well placed and Peers scrambled one in too, based on chances created we deserved that although we weren't as fluid as usual. That was to be expected.

Has Fiz signed I wonder as previously he was listed as a trialist, but last night named. I thought he did ok, made a few runs and helped create opportunities. Overall the service to him was poor in first half.

Any idea who the other trialists were?
Surely we're not considering Fis?

So glad I didn't go to Bradford to watch the lads. I'd have been better off investing in a drone flying over Stoke 😂

We're certainly considering him - hopefully that's as far as it goes.

I will say that Fis did not attend the Brightlingsea trip... whereas several other faces did including Pringle and Fitzpatrick, and injured players such as Dens and White.

I wonder if Parky is giving Fis one last chance, or a chance to show himself to other clubs during this period.

Let's hope it's the latter.
I try to be fair and I've no axe to grind but I honestly don't see him as the answer to our search for another number nine (if, indeed, we've got one under way)

Stoke team can be checked out on John Laidlar's site. Interestingly it included Shaun Wright-Phillips's son, and Lou Macari's grandson.

With Parkie and Sorvs being full time they have been able to create better links with EFL clubs - this could mean some decent loans etc when we need them!
