Title: Lincoln - Match Thread
Post by: Mrs Warbouys on September 20, 2015, 08:46:36 AM
Assuming Shaun won't be fit

Leather.......Havern....Parry.....Griffin
Sinnott.....Moult......Richman....crowther
.......................Lawrie
..........................Reeves

Back to basics, lumped the ball too much yesterday and ranks was crowded out, same will happen at Lincoln, get the ball on the ground, and if we could get a FAST right winger in on loan is put them in for Jordan

I doubt a right midfielder will be signed on loan in the near future let alone by Tuesday..Really need someone with pace running at defendersCant see Jordan being dropped

We'll probably renovate the ground into an all seater stadium before we ever see a genuine, decent right winger at Altrincham FC. Who was our last decent one? Got to look back quite a bit, excluding Duncan who was always a striker at this level.

I'd be happy with a moderate right midfielder who is a similar standard to the rest of the team

Are we sure Parry is available for Tuesday? His first game was on Aug 22nd at Dover; the loan period quoted was one month & the paperwork would have had to be registered the day before (i.e. 21st); Tuesday is Sept 22nd. Clarification from the club would be helpful.

He wasn't very good on Tuesday either.

I think he's a decent enough central defender but when put in front of the back four (as last Tues) he looks far less sure of himself. Given Densmore's injury - which I would have thought would rule him out of Tuesday's game - and the limited nature of our defensive cover we could do with having him available for another month. My original question was purely as to whether his existing loan runs out before Tuesday's game - as I suspect it logically should - in which case I trust the club will have at least attempted to extend it.

Would probably agree, or perhaps Chris Denham.

Flat back 4,  5: in the middle and Rankine up top.

Offer no goal threat all night but defend like hero's and claim a much needed point.
