i was in line with the incident ,albeit on the opposite side of pitch. There was head simulation from joseph, although there cant of been contact. It didnt appear to be a  chris senior moment vs mansfield. the closest to the incident were the linesman and ken mc, who were only feet away. whatever, it was totally unwarranted ,and was so soon after perry came on, it looked like an old score being settled

the rest of the team fought like lions after, and Hewson has got bags of ability

unless we can get the ball down and into his feet, Baynes will be a luxury for the rest of the season

Thanks for replying

If you're not going to get a 3 game ban you might as well make it worthwhile

Perry caught Joseph on the back of the head so he pushed him, hard, I thought it should have been a yellow, Baynes played well, crossed for the goal and his freekick was excellent in the second half

What is annoying is that we now lose an improved player for 3 matches (when the squad is thin anyway)...I don;t mind sendings off for last ditch tackles that turn to fouls, a 50/50 that you are unlucky with or if you at least injure the other player in a tackle\foul but for something when the whistle has already gone, with no danger then its a disgrace.

I think it was summed up by someone at the match, if it was a young kid then fair enough but from a senior player who knows how important points \ full teams are then there is no excuse. Yes I probably went over the top with having a go at him but my frustration was that from us looking like beating Tamworth we were put on the back foot for no good reason and could have lost to a VERY poor team.

Its forgotten about by me now, I had my say at the match and now on here... The good thing out of it was watching the remaining 10 players battle and block everything for the second half.

Let me guess dino, the only viable answer for this situation is to sack GH.

Despite the sending off, I do think that Marc Joseph has turned his game around and been a much improved player for us. The fact that he took so long to adapt to his role and has also had to win over our supporters, the sending off appears to have set him back again with some of our fans. We all have hot-headed moments in football and other courses of life which we all regret and I am sure Marc does with this sending off.

But lately he has been a much improved player and as Kenny says, we have all had moments of madness. Do not berate him now but as a player he deserves our support. What is done is done; but if he ever looks on this website I can tell you he would have given up long ago. but he is still here and now playing well.

I know some of you will disagree with me which is fair enough, but I do not like Ben6's post which shows complete disrespect for one of our players.

Marc has done well to turn things round and has become a good player for us, despite the abberation last week. Get back into the game after your ban Marc, and give it your all, there are several of us who can see where you are coming from and how you have improved. Kenny has said so himself that he is becoming a highly rated player from recent posts. Lets give him his chance when he comes back in and give him support as we do with the other players.
