And we've players that get paid

And our defence is sh*t hot

And our young chav's only turn up once in a blue moon

And we don'e owe AFC Telford any money

And we've got an electrical generator

And best of all we've got 24 points more than them  ;D

And we dont wear silly green gloves

And we have our kit

And we have a ground

And we have goalposts

And we do not have a chef who steals all the money

And we have directors that care about the club

BUT we do charge for away travel and dont give it free - perhaps with this in mind I should transfer my allegance to NVFC  :o

Stuck at work, bored and pedantic...................we don't have an electrical generator, we are supplied with power via the  electricity distribution network (UUE)

Interesting comments fron the Eastbourne camp...

Eastbourne manager Garry Wilson told BBC Southern Counties Radio:

"This will be a tough tough game for us, we played them earlier in the season and won 1-0 but had to go to the depths.

"Even when we don't play so-called glamour teams, we must get ourselves up. I think we've done that well.

"Most of the points we've picked up this season have been against the bottom sides."

Okay, we're not Oxford/Torquay nor Wrexham but sitting at 12th does not qualify as a 'botton side'....

To be fair we aren't a glamour team. but they must still get themselves up for the game.

And he has stated a fact there. Most of the points they have picked up were against the bottom sides. When we played them earlier this season it was before our "good run" was it not. And at that time we were a bottom side.

Dont think there is much wrong with the comments to be honest.  :)

Yes, but the comments are a direct reference to the game tomorrow. 'Do you think you'll get anything out of the game ?' 'Well we should because most of the points we have picked up have been against the bottom sides' We're 12th ???

Just to say, quickly, to avoid misunderstanding:

I interview Garry Wilson on a regular basis. This was not in the slightest meant to be a negative comment by him.  I know for certain that he has total respect for your club.  Frankly it's clubs like Alty and Borough that remind the Conference what proper non-league football is all about - close to the fans, properly run, no silly wage bills, etc.

Today Garry actually celebrates ten years in charge at Eastbourne.  So give him a healthy round of applause at Moss Lane.  Bes of luck to you guys.

I concur!

Despite the result I quite enjoyed my trip to Eastbourne back in August and I found it to be a friendly and welcoming place. 10 years as your manager is a very worthy achievement and I'm sure it will be acknowledged appropriately by the Moss Lane crowd.
