Just want to wish him all the best in his future football career. He was a player who you liked to see on the bench if he was not starting as it gave us a bit of depth!
Would you say we are on the verge of making another signing or saving money?

According to the article he ASKED to leave.

Cant blame him really as he wants first team football. Wish him all the best.

Will we bring someone in? Well with Denham back to training we may not do. But I hope for the depth of the squad we do.

The signing of the summer that excited me the most in all honesty. Gutted didn't get to see that much of him too be honest and when I did he didn;t seem to do much wrong and troubled defences.

Really hope Denham does stay, need some quailty attacking players on the books.

Only no big loss cos he never got a game! Not suprised he asked to leave when he sees the likes of Peyton gettin in ahead of him! On the upside i doubt he was on peanuts so it should free up a fair bit of cash.

I don't think we ever got the best out of him and there could be many reasons for that, but I guess we will never know the answer.

I know his partner is due to give birth in the near future and maybe that matter and the travelling from Bradford has also had some bearing on his decision.

Seemed a decent enough bloke so all the best to him.

not suprising.
big tallent don't want to say he was wasted on the bench, but i'm suprised he didnt become a regular starter.

maybe a bit of a luxury we couldnt afford.

do you think we will bring in someone new to replace him, or just save the cash.

Sad to see him go because he was someone who provided that bit of excitement for the crowd when he got on the ball, as you knew he could turn a defender inside out.  But like mentioned already, with Denham returning not a huge problem.  I must admit, I cant wait to see Denham back in action, he's going to be like a new signing for us after all this time he's been out!

Thanks and good luck Lee.

Very sad to see him go. As others have said, I don't think we got to see him at his best. He got himself fit, started playing regularly (and helped us to those run of wins) and then was suddenly dropped (in favour of Peyton as well!  ???

I hope it works out for him wherever he goes :)

I'd like to congratulate him on getting away with having a sh*t first touch for so long and it never got a mention on here.

I was very excited when we signed him due to the torment he caused.  I don't think he wll ever live up to those heights again.

Get the impression he was never going to settle in a squad of battlers.  Seemed to give his all most of the time though so good luck to him.

The return of Denham outweighs the loss of Elam for me. And I bet Peyton is breathing a sigh of relief.
