He will no doubt be astonished when he reads this (!) but I have to say that I concur with our current chairman's advocacy of the 'null and void option', as expressed in this article:

Id rather take our chances with playoffs than a null and void.

Perhaps Graham doesnt want to step down after all ::)

You have to remember that at our level contracts end in (or players are paid until) May so it would be difficult to continue the season as most players are also working and might have other commitments after the season is supposed to end.

As well as the reasons in the article itself, these are pertinent reasons at our level.

There's no issue with a PPG end to the season. Kings Lynn vs Dismantled Chorley would be better for us.

Yes, and then you look to see where they are and surprise, surprise they are second with best ppg of the playoff contenders

I would hope we'd voted for the best two teams go up on PPG. Denying another club (the team top) the opportunity to go up is hypocritical if we ever want to talk about FL vote.

I’d hope we’d go for ppg for champions, and playoffs to still take place. Even if they are behind closed doors over a couple of weekends at St. George’s park. You’re only arranging 5 games, hopefully home ganes for the deserving behind closed doors if needed. Or at the national football centre if required

I really cant see any footy at nln level being played until August maybe later .Could we play behind closed doors ? Big problems with contracts expiring  at  the end of April /start of May for any potential play off games.

We're too far down the pecking order for that to be contemplated, I'd imagine.

If we play behind closed doors can I get in early to volunteer to do radio robins?
