Play off as part time would be sensational. I just want to stay up and progress.

For the work they have done so far and the plaudits they are receiving, Phil and Neil will undoubtedly and quite rightly be on strategic 'forward planning' shortlists for a lot of clubs at our level, and probably the level above. I don't see how they can't be. This is why they're so well looked after here. The contract lengths took a wee bit of stick but if they were due to expire next May then we would be really open to a poaching scenario. As it is though they are secured here and that will factor into other clubs' thinking, I'm sure.
I believe their manager is Alan Devonshire. What a top player in his day and that's from a Spurs fan!! SBL
A very decent player who was rejected by Crystal Palace because of his short stature. He was driving a forklift at the Hoover factory and playing part time in the Isthmian League for Southall when West Ham paid a measly £5K for him. Despite injuries blighting his career, he won 8 England caps and an FA Cup winner's medal, finishing his career at Watford. There aren't many (any ?) at this level to match that level of achievement.
Matty Doughty was fuming that he didn't get the job
Ideas above his station? Wot Like Graham Taylor?
Pringle was by far the best player on the pitch in that first half, perhaps faded in the second but it's great to know we have players of similar quality ready to step in.
Where was Ryan Colclough, by the way?
I heard that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
It is a shame his career has lost its way. I hope he can bounce back.
I think he chose to leave to be closer to home, work and family.
Meanwhile Chester lost 0-4 in the cup at home against Maersk (a shipping company?! ) who had ten men for last 15 mins. Ouch
You've got to hand it to them; that is a brilliant effort for what will be a wet Tuesday evening.
