In fact how the liner did not give it either must remain a total mystery

I think both liners gave nothing all night, with the exceptions being throws and offsides.

I thought the official last night was just below average. I have refrained from saying he was poor because he got 3 out of 4 penalty decisions correct. However the decision not to aware a penalty when Chris Senior was held, was a major error.

I thought it was an obvious penalty from the pop-side last night, however Gavin's photos clearly show Senior was going for a loose ball and was not challenging the keeper late. He was then clearly prevented from reaching the ball. A penalty and a red card. One of the worst decisions I have seen this season.
If we could see it, why couldn't the ref.

The liner also flagged Tom Cahill offside once the Halifax arms went up. He looked off, but I was level and he was a good yard onside when the ball was played. He would have had a clear run on goal and at 3-3 with 5 mins left to play, the liner took the easy option.

Personally, becuase I was stood in the Golf Road end for the second half, their second penalty looked like a complete dive. Not sure what other people made of it, but that's my opinion.

I thought this as well. He went down on his second stride after getting past Tinson's challenge (I was on the mausoleum). However, I'll take the lack of dispute as a sigh that perhaps Tinno did clip him.

For me, at times the back four had too many runners from midfield to deal with and the midfield didn't screen the defence, leading to their strikers picking the ball up 'in the hole' so to speak. In fairness to Liam and Robbie though, they were being stretched by Halifax's passing,
