Phil and Neil have a very solid record with loanees.

Have made or are making an impact:

Connor Hampson - gone on to become a first team regular
Chris Merrie - valuable contributions alongside Moult during the NPL run-in
Yusifu Ceesay - big part in the 18/19 run-in
Owen Dale - quality during his time here
Ashley Hemmings - solid
Joe Piggott - solid enough
Billy Sass-Davies - looking like he'll be solid
Josh Lundstram - class
Andy Dales - potential is there
Joe Robbins - tidy enough
Alistair Smith - looks a player

Didn't make an impact for whatever reason:

Brendon Daniels
Josh Langley - didn't play a first team game?
Chris Sang
Nathan Waterston - got injured a few minutes after coming on?
Ethan Walker

Do you want to do one of the permanent signings we've made?

I think it's people like you who Parky was alluding to in his post match interview

Parkinson needs to get a thicker skin. Dare he go to a bigger club, he'll meet far worse than "Tom Peers isn't a conference player" (you'll notice he didn't start in any of our three wins). Or "Go and spend some money on permanent players".

You can be positive and criticise;. As they say, good is the enemy of great.

His loan signings have changed the season numerous times; but his player recruitment has been very hit and miss

Bore off. I was positive about McDonald. But doesn't fit your agenda 😘

Sorry for hitting a nerve. My only agenda is to support Alty and I've got no intention of falling out with anyone - even you. 😘

Wouldn't make much sense as this thread was discussing loanees until you swooped in with an agenda, sheeeeeeoooooock.

I'll humour you though. Define 'permanent' signings for me. To me that's players who've been offered a 'proper' deal to play here? In which case while we've signed a few duds in Branson, Arnold I'd probably say on the whole Phil and Neil have recruited well in that department too?

Tony Thompson
Andy White
Connor Hampson
Ben Harrison
James Jones
Josh Hancock
Jordan Hulme
Max Harrop
James Poole
Tom Peers
Yusifu Ceesay
Toby Mullarkey
John Johnston
Sean Williams
Elliot Durrell
Dan Mooney
Craig Mahon
Ritchie Sutton
Joel Senior
Matty Kosylo
Matt Gould (tbc)
Lewis Salmon (tbc)

If you want to include non-contract additions to the squad then I completely agree we've gone through an almighty list of players since 2017/18, many of whom never even kicked a ball. It's a slight concern but I don't see that approach happening as often in this league, as it did in the earlier years where it was more in the nature of the divisions.

His loan signings have changed the season numerous times; but his player recruitment has been very hit and miss

He seems to have an incredible knack for realising when a player doesn't hit the mark and adapt quickly by changing it. I don't think you can question him beyond that. 2 promotions in 3 seasons would suggest his recruitment within the confines of the budget he's been allocated has been absolutely spot on.

I also don't think he was complaining about individual comments I think he's disappointed when we go 2 games without a win in the national league etc and some people start calling for changes or to get rid of players. I think he see's the whole club, fans included, as a collective and is probably disappointed to see some people being negative at the first sign of something not being 100% right.

Personally, I believe he doesn't deserve any criticism, (constructive or not) given his record. However, i do think we start every season slowly and I suspect that's because Parkinson has a system (or systems) that takes time to implement properly and perhaps relies on players being fully match sharp before it's 100% effective. Early signs suggest it's coming together again which is a testament to him and Sorvs being able to play effectively the way we do as a part time side in this division.

Parky's first recruitment window was obscenely good.

Was Josh Ginnelly a Parky signing too pal?

Ginnelly was way back in the Sinnott/Tolson era.
