They cancel games for the slightest little thing. The rain can't be that bad if the pitch is playable. The attendance would be no more than 400. I drove from Chester to Urmston this afternoon with no problems. The AA and RAC traffic reports are far more reliable than the police who probably just didn't fancy getting wet.
It wasn't the police in Workington. It was Northumbria. Severe flooding up there apparently.

You must have missed the news then,.....roads flooded from NE across to Cumbria >:(

As said got nothing to do with the pitch and weather in Cumbria. It's the travelling of Blyth etc that would be the concern. Would you be happy if you we're one of the players wives awaiting your husband coming home at 2am in the conditions that have been reported in the NE?
