Just listened to Radio city & they have said that Wrexham have had to cancel
two recent friendlies after the players went on an un-offical strike after not being paid their wages.

Dean Saunders was backing the players saying that these players have mortgages to pay for etc etc.

New sports broadcaster Premier Sports (Sky 433) is to show Blue Square games.

Grimsby  v  Luton           4 Sept  5.15pm
Newport v  Wrexham     5 Sept  1.00pm

I just looked at BBC Nottingham but couldn't see anything concrete.

I think Forest play tonight aswell so we may not get the live Commentary.

Just found out there will be a big crowd on Thursday with the possibility of a mass pitch invasion
to protest against the Glazers. Around 5000 is expected.

Just hope they don't wreck our home if anything does go off.

With no Alty game today i am watching Sunderland v Barrow on Sky Italia.

Have to say Barrow really playing well in the 1st half & very unlucky to be behind 1-0 at half time.

Barrow have had plenty of long range shots on target but can't get past the home keeper.

I will be looking for a feed today as Setanta are broadcasting from the Abbey.

There is every chance of a feed on a satellite somewhere.

Altrincham FC First Team / Cycle to Wrexham

Hi.

I am hoping to cycle to Wrexham on Monday weather permitting.

Looks like sunny intervals with the latest forecast. Appx 45 miles

Should be about 2 & half hours ride.

Last & only time i cycled to an away game we won (1-0) at Northwich on Boxing day just gone.

So hoping for a similar result.
