Altrincham FC First Team / Premier League on TV in the bar returns

After today's home game with Brackley Town the bar will be showing Premier Leauge football again.

Newcastle v Tottenham at 5.30pm in HD.

The game will either be shown on Premier League TV HD in English or on
Sky Calcio 2 HD (in Italian)

We have switched from Tring this year due to them only having Premier League football & little else.

We now have access to....

Prem League
FA Cup
League Cup
England matches
Spanish & Italian League & cup's
English Championship

So once again, please support the club as we saw at the beer festival , there was a great atmosphere in the bar.

Contrary to the website...

ESPN WILL have Premier League football next season.

The new deal (which excludes Espn) does not begin until 2013-14 season when BT will take over the Espn matches.

ESPN still have the Premier league for next season 2012-13 so don't all rush out to buy BT boxes etc as you will be wasting your money.

This Sunday, the Bar will be open for two Premier League matches.

Man United   v   Everton  ( KO 12.30pm)

Wolves    v   Man City    (KO 4.00pm)

The bar will be open from appx 12 noon.

Altrincham FC First Team / over 850 Halifax fans at Stalybridge

Just spoke to a work colleague who watches Stockport.

He went to watch Stalybridge v FC Halifax last Friday & he said there was
"officially"  over 850 Halifax fans there & there was also more in other areas which would not have been counted as away fans.
So it was un-officially near 1000.

Lets hope they can bring that many to us on Saturday.

It would appear there is a big rumour going around that United reserves are looking at moving to
Salford Rugby League's new stadium.

An anouncement is due today apparently.
