Title: Signed Alty shirt
Post by: Binny on April 13, 2008, 08:10:16 PM
Hi Guys, after our one goal trip around all the BSP clubs to raise funds for the Nightingale Macmillan unit in Derby, which we did with 27 hours driving and 37 hours in total, we now have a signed Alty shirt for auction on E bay to raise extra funds if you are interested.

Your club were really kind to us and although we were running early and missed them on Monday, Grahme Rowley was kind enough to bring it to the game on Tuesday, which we just got back for!

I'm not one to knock a charity auction, but if this was only signed last Tuesday why did they choose a Gareth Whalley shirt?

Maybe because he has the left the club the club can not use the shirt again so why not donate it and raise some money for a worthy cause.

Fair point i suppose. Foz will certainly be interested, but i think a Colin Little shirt would raise more money.
