Too keen. As I understand it, 2pm is normal 'gate' time at most clubs in this league. It was at Halifax, thus I was forced to drag myself to the Three Pigeons....

Great to be back, really enjoyed the game & what a player Pringle is. A few teething problems with ques etc and wobbly tech but just happy to be there.

The chap next to me said he'd got to the ground at 1pm and couldn't get in until two (his plan was to have lunch in the ground), was he doing something wrong or just to keen ?

Did he have a big cool box and a folding picnic table with him?

Nice one Phil....we got in at noon and were told we must not leave until 2.45 so as to stagger entry to the Shay.....White Rat heaven

Elephant in the room.

We've conceded 2 to a side yet to score before Saturday, we looked sluggish and in first gear for 60 minutes.

Thanks fully the subs stepped it up but anything like that against Notts county, Wealdstone Chesterfield we will be put the sword.

A late penalty means everyone's focused on 3points, but we shouldn't be eeking past a side who will be lucky to finish on positive points.

Thanks for the reality check, Jumbo! 😉

On the flip side our average Goals per game is 2 per game vs 1.08 last season.

I think when we have Moult and Kirby on pitch we're going be more defensive than if only 1 of them is on.

Not a bad plan against most teams, but I hope Pringle starts against Kings Lynn over 1 of them

Depending on how Furman gets on with us, it wouldn't be beyond comprehension to see Pringle and Furman playing alongside each other in central midfield, with Kirby sat behind them doing the donkey work.

Let's not write Jake off yet though, it's not the first time in football that a substitute has been more effective than the starter.

Fair comment Jack. Our next two being Wealdstone away and Kings Lynn at home we have an excellent chance to have a very strong start but lessons to learn from Saturday of course and defensively no question we need to tighten up. 6/9 though gives us the platform and I hope we can build on it. As PP said we were on a bit of a hiding for nothing & above all on Saturday the 3 points was king with their -12.

We're a game behind everyone else and still getting some minutes into the tank.

Dover will be one of the poorer sides in the league but they're not cannon fodder, they'll take points off plenty of teams.

If they score 2, then we score 3
