Post by: bumble on September 13, 2013, 04:20:02 PM
on monday - any chance of a home draw?

Burton
Halifax
Worcester
Boston
Leek
Shildon
FC United

Witton was the last time we got a home draw in FA Trophy or Cup

We would also have faced yet another away tie (at Crewe) had we defeated Burton Albion in that televised Moss Lane replay.

As for next Monday's draw, it will inevitably present us with an away day at Flixton to face Northwich Victoria.

We'll be getting some sort of season break when the world cup goes to Qatar.  That decision is utter madness in my opinion.  Either have players running about in summer at 40C plus, or change the dates of the season before and after.

grrr...

off topic I know.

Maybe we should ask Qatar if they'll swap the World Cup for the Cheshire Senior Cup.

Bring on Vics at Flixton

Would you class that as playing real Vics though?  Which one is the real one?

technically the one at Flixton (not Villa) is the real one

the heart is now 1874 though

It's nice to know that we don't have to concern ourselves with either Witton or FCUM  :D

We don't want Trafford................

We CERTAINLY don't want Curzon, Ryan Brooke and all, whose 4-2 win at Marine was one of today's outstanding performances !

To paraphrase Elvis Costello:

"I don't want to go to Frickley...."

I agree with Beez, the winners of new mills or Warrington would be good for a day out, new mills is rural and for Warrington we could all mob up at costellos new bar in the centre of Lymm pre match!

Away to Jarrow Roofing, if for no other reason that the irony of seeing a team of that name with a missing roof on their pop side (as reliably informed by JTH).

It's called Lymm Brewery Tap. Judging by the amount of waste it's taken off very quickly!
