Am I right in my understanding that we are responible for paying the wages of the loan players and if so how can we afford to bring any more in without releasing other players?

Players will certainly have to be released due to the large influx recently. However, we are still nowhere near the 30-40 they have at Vics!

The board won't allow money to be spent if we do not have it that's for sure. Sometimes loan players wages are paid in full - sometimes deals are agreed to just pay part of their wages. Every case is different.

I've just read that it is unlikely that any more players will be leaving and some might be joining. I've not known us have such a large squad in years.

In the summer they would have set a wage budget for the conference north. There is no doubt in my mind that despite the summer signings we only slightly exceeded this and had not reached a readjusted, larger conference national wage budget.

I am also sure that releasing Whalley and Potts will have freed up a fair wack to cover the loanies, who as youngsters can't be on that much regardless of tallent.
