If by a miracle and we make it to first round. With no bury there must be a bye in that round for some one
I doubt there'll be a bye - even the FA aren't that dumb. They'll surely have rejigged it by that stage, probably in the next qualifying round.

Now we’ve had three days to process Saturdays sh*t show. We must remember Saturday is the FA Cup, it’s historically our competition. It’s an away game up the road so let’s be having you. How many of the 1300 at Chorley are coming along on Saturday. Dust yourselves now and let’s get there in large numbers, they’ll need us behind them from the off.

Count me out. I'm not risking getting as angry again as I was on Saturday, and I can't see us getting anything. Yes, we drew there early doors, but their star striker wasn't playing - and advertised his well-being with a hat trick at Telford last week.

I voted for it when given the chance and I still like it now. Fair enough if some people don't like it, it's a simple matter of taste at the end of the day. I have to say, though, if we were in the top 5 and playing better I don't think we would be having long threads about people disliking a kit. I don't give a sh*t what they wear as long as the players start performing better on the pitch.
If there had been a "none of the above" option, I'd definitely have voted for it. The purple was the best away kit we've ever had in my opinion.

I have to say that I found it difficult to pick out JJ on the far side of the pitch on Saturday, and also to distinguish his movement accurately. There's definitely an argument against this kit, but, as others have said, the problems appear to run far deeper than that.

When things aren't going your way as a collective team then you need to forget about that, dust yourselves down a bit and start winning your individual battles. From there you may get an inspirational moment, be it a win in a 50/50 from Moult or an individual effort from Hulme that we can all feed off of. Too many of them went hiding unfortunately, which simply wouldn't happen at home. We've had so many fantastic days out away from Moss Lane over the past two seasons but they are quickly becoming very expensive chores.

I must say I'm surprised the substitutions of Hancock and Hulme haven't been mentioned on here. Taking your biggest goal threats off when two goals down looked like a bit of an authority stamping exercise from Phil in my view, as neither appeared to be injured.

Dreading Chester.

Hancock was having a really poor game. I would have hooked him earlier to be honest. I always feel that if he plays well, then we play well. The reverse seemed to be true on Saturday.

No one has slated the officials yet. Surely it was their fault

The referee was no worse than 98% of those we've had this season. Butterfield should have had a second yellow for sure. But if we'd had the best referee in the world, we'd still have lost, because we were simply dreadful.

Take the time to read John Laidlar's match report - as usual, he is 100% correct.

I think the sale of Branston leaves us a player short. We usually operate on a one-in, one-out basis, so I'd expect to see a new midfielder arrive shortly. We don't appear to have anyone on the bench who can come on and change a game. With the best will in the world, neither Peers nor Harrop are going to do this.
Forgot to say, ditch that kit - it's poo.

The kit is a crime against humanity, and I wouldn't be seen dead in a ditch wearing that shirt. But the team were beyond awful this afternoon, and for the third time this season I was angered by their performance away from home. I will not be travelling again until things improve considerably.

Must be plenty more players out there with more appetite for the game. We need players that are buzzing for 90 minutes, and he just didn't fit that pattern.

I wouldn't say he lacked appetite, it was just that our style of play didn't suit him. Billy Heath's more direct methods may bring out the best in him.

Kidderminster are not as big a club as they think they are, and are clearly not at their best right now. Reported locally today that there are cash flow problems yet again - academy coaches not fully paid.

Time to lay our bogey.

2-1 Alty (Hancock, Hemmings)

Attendance 1234

All cottage pie in visitors section sold out before half time.

I did notice another keeper warming up before KO, anyone know who it was?
I was told it was the youth team keeper, who had performed quite well in the cup-tie against Curzon on Thursday.
"Quite well" is damning the lad with faint praise ! He saved three penalties in the shoot-out !

Yes Congleton away would be good
It certainly would, but they were knocked out two rounds back by Westfield.

I thought Leamington were distinctly average, but you can only beat what's put in front of you. Considering the two substitutions, and the penalty that was denied (I await Alty TV with great interest !), it was a quality performance. Hemmings was outstanding, Moult looked far more like himself, Hancock gives us so much.

We need to carry that showing forward to Kidderminster next week.

My personal favourite isn't there. JJ does brilliantly to keep the ball in at, Ceesay brings it down superbly, Jordan Hulme buries it. The third against Farsley - absolute quality !

Whilst Andy White is somewhat below par at the moment, I'm sorry to say that anybody who'd pick Sean Densmore ahead of him clearly didn't see his abject display at Boston.

The manager chose to withdraw him.

The manager also chose to start with a different formation to that used on Saturday. Maybe Ceesay arriving late forced his hand. Sean Williams was given a different role to the one in which, to my mind, he's been one of our most consistent performers so far this season. It clearly didn't suit his style of play. He'll be back, and he'll prove his worth.
