Shades of the Ian Craney song (he plays in red 'n' white, and sometimes light blue, he's better than Pele, and Zico too).
And the one about Jaap Stam! We've had some right corkers over the years, and maybe a few stinkers too.

I thought it was for Talbs. Says something that he had two songs.
"He's bigger than Jaap Stam/ He plays for Altrincham/ Gary Talbot, whoooa/ Gary Talbot, whoooa" - also used for Mark Sertori ("he comes from Italy, he plays for the Alty" - which Stuart Coburn once changed to "he works in a cafe"!).
The other one, "there's a Gary Talbot way up in the sky/ He gets the ball into the net because he is so high". Probably just me, but I found this one quite funny for some reason.
Best one in my time was probably "he scored a goal and made us dance"!
