Things to do in Weymouth
« on: April 19, 2008, 05:54:53 PM »

A lot of us will be spending three days in Weymouth, so apart from the game what else is there to do. If anyone knows any good pubs, clubs, scrumpy shops, places to find a dirty woman or any other fun passtimes please list them here.

Beforehand

Most will be wandering restlessly around with squeaking bums wishing it was all over.

Afterhand

Most will not be able to remember where they are or why they are up a tree wearing a red and white striped traffic cone on each leg like a pair of swimming trunks and covered ion kebab fat.

weymouth calling alty

in answer to the first post:

A lot of us will be spending three days in Weymouth, so apart from the game what else is there to do?? Lots to do, lots of pubs, nice scenery, harbour, beach, eating places ... you will love it

any good pubs? loads of pubs. Plenty in town. Chain pubs like wetherspoons, to good local real ale boozers. When the weathers nice, head down the harbour to enjoy a pint or 2 'al fresco' and watch the world go by.

clubs? Theres a few who have 24 hour licence at weekend. Most of them are pub/club. Dance to cheese or indie. Plenty of choice and plenty of live music around the town

scrumpy shops? A few pubs sell Cheddar Valley on draft. Market House and The Boot definitely do. That stuff should have a health warning  ;D

places to find a dirty woman? Goldfingers for the lap dancing pleasure or i'm sure you will find 'dirty' women in harrys, dusk or dorothys

other fun passtimes ? donkey rides, sandcastles, drinking and oh ... more drinking

weymouth pub guide is here http://www.theterras.co.uk/website/the%20town/pubs.htm?world=5088

hope we are safe by then so can enjoy the game. See you all next week. How many of you are making the trip ?
Could be fun in weymouth next weekend with you lot added to a few leeds fans who are down staying in weymouth for their game at green slime on friday.

Cheers for that mate, not sure how many we'll bring but we've got a good away following for a club our size, I'd say about 250 plus will make the trip.

See you next week, you'll hear us,  ;)
