Noticed on the tellyfax (or whatever it's called) that Sunderland have been approached by SC**thorpe about taking DW on loan and been refused. Wonder if it's because they're looking for a loan with a Championship side or whether they're considering blooding him later in the season?

I've been to quite a few premiership games this season...at the expense of watching alty sadly.

The thing that has struck me is the complete unwillingness and lack of of players running with the ball past the opposition to create space....it is all pass and move and very very boring....

Duncan is good enough and should be given a chance now....he'd score 10 goals and have many more assists....that he is not being given the chance shows the style of don't give anything away patient build boring and cowardly tactics displayed at that level.......the fans would love him....and he would transform the style of play for who he is playing for.....

It is all a sign of the times and one of the reasons why football at the top level is dying on its arse at the moment and why the lower levels are beginning to thrive....
