Newcastle Blue Star bow out of FA Trophy....

In tonight's FA Trophy replay, Newcastle Blue Star lost away 4-1 to Sutton Coldfield Town. Hopefully we won't feel any backlash and we must treat the game with respect and not think the result is a foregone conclusion.

Did they rest a few I wonder? Or perhaps subconsciously they had us in mind. I'd be surprised if we found it easy up there, even if they've had a bad result.

Well we beat Stanley on pens (I think) a few years back (ok, 2001) and then lost to Darlington 2-1 at home, so it's not necessarily a worry. I would guess there's only so many players they could rest - maybe pulled some people off at half time (as one tasteless joke goes).
