According to his post on facebook
-
Good luck to the lad. As he has pointed out, 22 goals in 2 seasons, a fair few assists and instrumental in the winning goal of our playoff final.
-
Good luck Kyle, gave us a different option but didn't secure enough of a difference when we started 442
-
Good Luck Kyle and a Very Big Thank You too!
-
Very sad news but hopefully a sign that the manager is willing to make brave decisions.
All the best Kyle, top lad who will clearly be missed in the dressing room.
-
Good luck to the lad did better than I expected in his 2 years but it proves the club is aiming to move forward and Sinnott is prepared to make a tough call with someone he likes and rates highly

Agree with this 100%. I thought he offered us some options, but it does look like LS will have a busy summer. Good that it has happened now though so he has plenty of time to get his next gig (no pun intended).
-
Although it was the right move for him to go, there are a couple of others I would have liked to have gone before him!
Also, Hope his mate in the band stays!
-
Maybe but I think the people you wanted to go before him will go anyway
-
Did he jump or was he pushed?
Thank you and good luck to hm.
Can't see Marshall signing now, which is a massive loss.
-
Good luck Kyle, thanks for your efforts. Nice goal to sign off with on Saturday too, or was it a cross?
-
Good luck Kyle, you were always good value. Best of luck.
Now to find the next man.

With the midlands hardly being a non leauge hotbed at the moment I don't see why marshall will go

Kyle was a decent enough player to have enough of an impact to make a difference for us, but where I think he might be missed most is in the changing room with his character and humour.
I wish him all the very best.
Just wondering if, moving on so early, LS has his eye on someone.
-
Sad to see him go. A good third striker for the club, offers something different and ideal sub when trying to hold on to games and a good character. Also seemed happy to play the role of impact sub and good strikers are not often happy with that.

problem is he was the second striker

Probably wasn't the original plan to be honest.
-
Interesting decision. Can't think he would be let go without a replacement lined up.
Hopefully a sign that the club is ambitious enough to move forward and make tough decisions regarding decent squad players.
Good luck Kyle.
-
I have to admit I was a little bit nervous about this - keeping the nucleus of the squad together was what helped us to safety this year, and there is a lot to be said about impact in the dressing room.
At one point I did think I would have been quite happy simply having another go at finding a second striker to push Kyle into third spot.
However, given the lottery of signings at this level, I suppose signing 2 strikers (as I assume we hopefully will do) gives us a better chance of at least one of them working.
We can't just sign another Gillespie and make no progress from this season, perhaps that was Lee's line of thought on this.
-
proved a lot of doubters wrong and for a big often overweight player amazingly became a cult fans favourite forever remembered for fouling the keeper with typical determination to create an assist for the goal that won us promotion.
I'd have kept him as a useful squad member personally.
Wherever he goes he wont get 10 goals for them ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
He probably wants to start games more often , been very good as a sub but starting games havent been quite as successful, I presume Gillespie will go.
-
Never won us a penalty!
-
Kyle took all the criticism on the chin and became a crucial player for us in Conference National. I always said that he wasn't a footballer, but sometimes that simply isn't the point. He pushed, he barged, he shoved, he harassed and generally made a nuisance of himself and on more than one occasion I found myself muttering, "Thank God he's one of us!" The team will miss him greatly. Good luck Kyle wherever you end up mate.
-
I've never seen a player terrorise defenders as much as he did to Macc's in the second half at Moss Rose.
They didn't have a clue what they were supposed to be doing.
-
The club is very slow to confirm (or deny) this news.
-
Just been confirmed on the official site, along with a few other names that were released. I've started a new thread on it on here at http://www.altyfans.co.uk/index.php?topic=20164.0

Good luck to Kyle, cracking lad and we will miss his enthusiasm and great attitude. How he gets fixed up soon.
-
As a number of people have already said I think Kyle will be a bigger loss off the field than on.
His celebration to an empty stand after scoring at Halifax was comedy gold.
-
I think he may also have been snookered by us seemingly now moving towards playing with one striker, two at a push rather than two up front and Kyle on the bench.
If so makes sense to release Kyle and Gillespie and try (!) to sign a quality 2nd striker with Lawrie as a 3rd back up.
And yes, excellent away at Macc.

As we've got rid of one former pantomime villain, dare I say we should be approaching another in Richard Brodie...?!
-
On his way to Dover I understand.

and do you know where he is CROSSING to ? ;) ;)
-
doesn't sound happy about it, posted on facebook "feeling frustrated"....lots of comments from alty fans and fans of other clubs wishing him luck,..
-
Good luck Kyle. Never forget your hard work which resulted in Greg Wilkinson's goal in last years play off final.

effectively been sacked, why would he be happy with it?

After the quite literal abuse we've thrown at him over the years, there's not a chance in Hell he'd sign for us.
-
If we wanted him and paid him enough he would come regardless

If he was playing for us he'd STILL be a tosser....and I'd still give him dog's abuse.
-
Yes if he was scoring on a regular basis you giving him abuse you would be popular
-
Would have any striker here of Conf quality - once here the manager / club will sort them out - once banging goals in, opinions may not change, but previous character can be tolerated
.
-
Chris Denham was another one of them players who, like Kyle and Broadie, you hated him being in the opposition team. I was happy when Denham and Perry played in a red and white shirt, and same would apply to Broadie if he came in.
-
It's a shame Kyle didn't manage to score an equaliser at Macc. He would have gone down as a legend then. It was easily his best performance.
Good luck with what comes next.
