Starred at this for the last 30 mins...........it's gonna be tough staying ahead of Weymouth and Vics...but it can be done.

15 points anything less and we are down

4 wins would keep us up if Vics beat Weymouth tomorrow.

There is still a realistic chance of survival even if Weymouth and Farsley go on a winning run. Grays, Crawley and Halifax could all be thrown out and there are rumours about Wrexham joining the Welsh league so they can qualify for Europe every year. I can't imagine 4,000 people turning up each week to watch them play some unpronounceable Welsh village, but maybe the European money will be enough to compensate them.

What are the odds for Crawley or Grays to be thrown out?

It's all very simple! Win ALL the home games and then win at Weymouth on the last day! Job done! (I think).

But the home record is the reason the club are in this mess. Eleven home defeats is disgraceful.

How can anyone be so certain that anything less and we are certain to go down ?
If Weymouth don't win again and Vics beat Weymouth and lose the rest, then we are safe as it stands today.............I know it's unlikely given current form, but why would it not be feasible to gain 10 points and still out of the zone (ps if you are Dr Who and have been into the future, then please let me know the scores so that I can get to the Timperley bookies)

Wrexham going into the Welsh league is not even a rumour. It's a rumour that there is a rumour. Anyone care to name the source of the info.

We have more chance of staying up on merit than we have of Crawley being thrown out or going bust. Who says paying your debts will reward you in the end.

Sorry meant to include a quote where someone believes no less than 15 points will do

Ive been told first hand by a member of the conference management board that wrexham WILL NOT be joining " league of Wales"And will be lining up in next years Blue Sq Premier (unless they get their finger out in the next few weeks)

I hate to say it (through gritted teeth) "Come on Northwich - turn Weymouth over tonight"

And I would really hate it if we only survived because a team was thrown out / chose to play in Wales / couldn't come up from the Conference South because their ground wasn't good enough (I've not heard anyone mention that particular straw yet!).

We have to live or die by our own merits this season, and should we survive we ought to have learnt enough to be a Woking next season - mid table obscurity, bored from mid February and therefore blooding a few of the youth team.

Wrexham have turned the corner under Brian Little anyway. Mansfield are also picking up some good results, especially away from home. My bet is on Chester and Macc to come down, which makes it even more imperative that we stay up.
