regardless of who we draw - this could this potentially be a money spinner for us if we get to the 1st round proper £4.5k, £7.5k, and £12.5k

Problem is we've all been saying that for the last 5-6 years.

To be fair to the current management team, our recent repeated failings in the major cup competitions are nothing to do with them.

I dont think we've had what you could call a proper run in the Cup since 01-02 IIRC when (then FL) Darlington knocked us out 2-1 at Moss Lane with the MOTD cameras present in FAC R2. If Millwall didn't have that lad on loan from Arsenal a few years ago (Jay Simpson I think) I think we could have beaten them that day.

I'll be quite content with anyone but Hyde and Stalybridge. Maine Road, that'd be brilliant!  

Wouldn't be the first time we've played at Maine Road (either of them) in the FA Cup. Actually come to think of it are we the only club in FA Cup history to have played at a venue and a club of the same name?
