Mr Laidlaw makes reference to our acquiescence at Salisburyon this Saturday In 2007 (a match I watched the  horrific last 15 minutes of live on Ceefax in Currys in Slough) but I would prefer to remember the 4-0 crushing of Bath in 1979, the match I realised we had nothing to fear from the Southern League clubs

Also note the 9-0 victory over Moulton Verdun in the FA Cup in 1934: they still exist as a working mans club in Northwich I discover: probably bigger than Vics now!!
